Dr. David Deeke returned to the Animal Medical Center in the summer of 2012 as a veterinarian. Dr. Dave graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. He then worked at a small animal hospital in Springfield, Illinois. His primary professional interests are canine and feline preventative medicine, dermatology (skin disease), ophthalmology (eye disease) and dentistry.
Outside of working at the Animal Medical Center on your furry friends, he enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Sarah and son, Kurt). They enjoy traveling and often spend weekends at Apple Canyon Lake. They have two pets MacGyver (cat) and Zeus (Doberman). Dr. Dave is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle and a graduate of Lake Park High School. He is an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox, and enjoys playing golf and volleyball.
